Blackheads!!!!!
During adolescence most people suffer from the problem of oily skin and acne problem which in turn lead to blackheads. They are mainly caused by the partially blocked pores in the skin. The black appearance is often a source of a few anxious moments, especially so for those in their teens. The blackening effect is due to the oxidizing effect of air on the oil glands.

Stubborn blackheads are difficult to hide. Even a coat of makeup cannot hide them. Washing the face with soap at regular interval can reduce them temporary but cannot remove them.

The following tips to be kept in mind to get rid of blackheads.

    • One should take care to use the products made out of natural ingredients. Harsh products should be avoided as they strip the skin of oil which leads to more blocked pores.
    • Cleansing should be done regularly to remove the dead skin so that they don’t block the pores.
    • Squeezing the blackheads is one of the ideal way to remove the blackheads. But one should not use their fingers or nails for this, else it will cause permanent damage to the pores. Stubborn blackheads might require a more aggressive approaches. It is suggested that a dermatologist be referred in extreme cases.
    • Skin peels have also known to help the people with this problem.

However, if proper skin care is taken then one can usually avoid this problem to a large extent.
