Blackheads? Be careful, as they are the initial stages of acne development. Hormonal changes, especially after puberty is the primary cause. Wondering, why such a name? The toxins in the skin bind with the oil or the sebum and result in a sticky substance. The part which is on the outer portion of the skin gets oxidized and become black. So, they are called blackheads. They are small bumps which get immersed in the pores, thereby clogging them. Individuals with oily skin are more prone to black heads. A skin that is dirty is the base for blackheads. Maintaining proper skin hygiene is the key factor. Face washing after makeup is necessary, but excessive scrubbing activates the oil glands, resulting in black heads.
Blackheads are the real culprits behind the development of pimples. They are initially not so obvious. Blackheads are also referred to as comedones. A blackhead remover that is flat is effective in removing them. Avoid squeezing your skin for blackheads, as this might aggravate the whole problem.
