Balanitis, a very rare inflammation of the foreskin in the penis head is very easy to detect. Generally, if males do not have a problem with their genital organ, the skin should not experience itchiness nor seen with redness and irritations. If you see something strange in your penis, check carefully because these may be balanitis symptoms.

Balanitis symptoms do not have specific signs of medical conditions. These signs and symptoms are seen and visible only in the skin of penis. However, not all balanitis symptoms can be seen at one glance. There are signs and symptoms that are only noticeable by doctors who are expert in this condition.

Inflammation of the penis head that may lead to erection problems, ejaculation problem, impotence, pain in the penis, pain during erection, penis discharge, swelling, ulcer of penis, soreness in the penis head, tingling of the foreskin, burning sensation in the penile, bruises, itchiness and rashes, and tingling of the whole penis is one of the signs that may only be seen when you consult your condition with your doctor.

The initial stage of balanitis may be noticed easily when the skin of the penis starts to get rough. Under normal condition, the penis skin should be very smooth. In fact, the skin in this area is one of the smoothest portions of the skin in the body. When roughness starts to occur, a man should be cautious in this condition and may opt to immediately ask his doctor about this. If roughness is neglected, the next balanitis symptom would be the scarring of the skin. In this stage, redness starts to appear and itchiness is already involved and felt by a man with balanitis. These conditions of balanitis are still easy to treat and cure by the use of ointment and frequent washing. However, when the penis completely loses the foreskin’s elasticity, a more complicated treatment option is needed.

Balanitis is one of the conditions that are not treated right away simple because it involves a private genital area. Men who have this condition normally feel shy to consult with their doctor because the causes of this condition involve improper hygiene and self care. However, not all are knowledgeable about the treatment of Balanitis and when Balanitis symptoms worsen, it will be more difficult to undergo treatment and the more a person would feel shy to consult his condition. If you see one of the above symptoms and signs, do not hesitate to see your doctor. These people are professionally trained to handle this condition and there is nothing to worry about shame and other things. Your genital area matters a lot to you. Take good care of it and avoid the causes of this genital disease.
