Work Related Chemicals
People who have a tendency to develop allergic reactions are more likely to develop asthma when exposed to chemical substances in their work environment. The severity of asthma increases with increased exposure to the allergens. Some people experience relief from symptoms when they change their jobs and work in an environment where they do not come in contact with the allergens. People with allergic tendencies or those who smoke are at greater risk of developing work-related asthma.
