The fruit of the Acai palm, known as the Acai berry, has a wide variety of health benefits, making it a very prominent part of daily diets. The berry looks like a grape, is purple in color and is embedded with a large seed. The pulp of the fruit can be used in the form of fruit juices and smoothies, making it convenient for consumption. The Acai plant is native to the lands of Brazil and South America.
