Endometriosis, a commonly seen painful, chronic and progressive disease occurs when the mucus membrane cells surrounding the uterus, form implants. These implants attach, grow, and function on the outer side of the uterus, which is a pelvic region.  The causes of this disease are unknown containing widel unpredictability and severity.

The conservative surgery is a treatment of endometriosis plays a vital role to diagnose the endometriosis. It assists the patients to eradicate endometrial implants and cysts aggressively without causing any successive adhesions and surgical scarring, which may slow down future fertility of the woman.

The conservative surgery is instrumental to improve the woman infertility rates by diagnosing and curing severe endometriosis of stage III and IV. In some cases, early stage endometriosis is also diagnosed by the conservative surgery because of the progressive nature of its disorder. In the early stage postoperative period of the surgery, the best fertility rates occur. If there will be no elimination of implants completely, the fertility rates declines.

In treatment of Endometriosis like conservative surgery, two alternatives either laparoscopy or laparotomy are performed by the surgeon. The laparoscopy is performed by the surgeon under general anesthetic.

Firstly, in Laparoscopy, small incisions at the naval and above the pubic bone are carried out. The laparoscope, which is a hollow tube, is equipped with camera lenses and optic light source made up of fiber. This tube is situated through incisions at the navel.

Secondly, the surgeon inserts the probe via second incision by which physician directly sees the outside area of ovaries, uterus and fallopian tubes. The surgeon may make the additional required incisions on both sides of the lower abdomen. These incisions are used to pass surgical instruments and devises to eradicate the abnormal tissues. The laser or scissors is used to remove the implants.

Laparotomy is another treatment of Endometriosis in which surgeon uses a wide abdominal incisions and traditional surgical instruments. This surgery is invasive and needs infinite recovery timing. Laparotomy is typically used for insightful and sensitive endometriosis.

The third trimester of pregnancy is the final phase of the pregnancy ending with the birth of the baby. The growth of the baby will be more during these last few months. The mother can also experience a lot of changes in her body. In the third trimester of pregnancy, the fetus continues to grow in weight and size. The lungs are maturing and fetus begins to position head down. And the fetal development includes the growth of kidney and lungs, the bones of the skull remain soft to make it easier to pass through the birth canals and the baby is covered in vernix caseosa (or simply called vernix), a creamy, protective coating on the skin, at this period consult with your doctor, if you have swelling in the hands and feet in the seventh month. You can also have cramps in legs due to the growing demand of the baby on extra calcium, minerals and vitamins.

Heartburn, shortness of breath, indigestion, tiredness and sleep trouble become apparent in the third trimester of pregnancy as the baby grow to almost four pound and sixteen inches in length. Don’t forget to take routine check up and prescribed medication. These symptoms can mitigate by change in relaxation and dietary habits. In the last month of the third trimester of pregnancy, the baby head will come in the pelvic area, to get ready for the delivery. At this period you feel a surge of energy and have an easy breathing and more frequent urge to urinate. This is the crucial period when your anxiety level and sacredness rises considerably. These are the normal feeling for perfect delivery. So enjoy each and every minute of your pregnancy with good health and happiness.

Minor bleeding which is similar to the period is termed as spotting.  Spotting during  first trimester of pregnancy is common.   Some of the women complain of lower back pain during spotting.  Although there is nothing to worry about spotting; but since bleeding is an indication of miscarriage so it is always better to consult your doctor if you feel there are some complications.

Spotting during pregnancy results in the flow of blood through vagina; the blood which flows out is in very small quantity.  Spotting may occur only once or it may occur several times during the pregnancy.

If spotting occurs during ovulation then it is an indication of pregnancy.  When spotting occurs just a week before the cycle then it is termed as implantation spotting. If there is an increase in the hormone estrogen or if there is a decrease in the hormone progesterone then also spotting may occur.

There are also cases of abnormal spotting in women. It occurs before the menstruation cycle.  Though the causes are unknown but hormonal imbalance is considered to be one of the major cause.

When the fertilized egg gets attached to the wall of the uterus then it is also considered to be one of the causes of spotting during pregnancy.   Spotting during pregnancy can also be an indication of premature labor or if the placenta is separating itself from the uterus then also spotting occurs.  Disease like Chlamydia also results in spotting.

Spotting during pregnancy is an indication of pregnancy and it is also an indication of some complication.  So none can be sure about the causes of spotting; so better be in touch of your gynae. The gynae will be able to identify the causes and will provide you the right medication if required.

All the medical research done so far has shown that smoking during pregnancy is very dangerous for newborns.  Cigarette has about 2500 chemicals including nicotine and carbon monoxide which harm the mother as well as the baby.

Placental problems, low-birth weight baby, preterm delivery are some of the dangerous implications of smoking during pregnancy.  The babies who take birth faces the risk of several diseases which can be deadly also. Smoking during pregnancy adversely affects the physical as well as the mental growth of the child.  In many cases the child born is dead or suffers from deadly diseases.

Smoking during pregnancy also harms the reproductive cycle of a woman.   Premature rupture of the membrane is a common problem with smoking women. The baby born is premature and may have underdeveloped brain and physique.  Moreover the smoking women also face difficulty in conceiving a child.

Heart disease, emphysema, stroke, lung cancers are some of the major diseases which affects a child when a woman is smoking during pregnancy. A child when exposed to smoking may suffer from disease like bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma and ear infection.

A to be pregnant woman should make efforts to quit smoking; sincerity and seriousness is required.  Counseling and the support of the family members can help a woman in giving up smoking.  In most of the cases it has been observed that if the partner does not smoke and provides moral support then the woman is able to quit smoking easily.   There are centers which also helps women who want to quit smoking.

When you are pregnant, remember that your little baby is completely depending on you.  The kind of lifestyle you choose affects your baby directly; so better to adopt a healthy practice, this would ensure not only your happiness but you will have a healthy and happy baby.
