Thrust is a result of over growth of Candida albicans (yeast) on skin or mucus membranes. Try the following home remedies -
  • Acidophilus is a healthy bacterium which helps to keep the yeast balance in your gut.  Its common sources include yogurt and buttermilk.


  • Try to avoid additional sugar in your diet as far as possible.
  • After every meal brush your teeth with baking soda. Discard the toothbrush after the infection is gone.


  • Salt water gargles done twice daily would also promote healing.
  • The antiseptic properties in garlic help to clear thrush. Chew 2 cloves daily or add garlic in the meals.
