Acidity/burning sensation of stomach

To prevent acidity follow these home remedies -
  • Never overindulge in eating food, always eat little less food according to your hunger even though it is your favorite food on the plate.
  • Learn to eat slowly and relax while eating. Before gulping each bite chew it at least 32 times.


  • Eat meals at least 2-3 hrs before sleeping hours and avoid lying down immediately after a meal.
  • Excessively spicy foods with all spices and condiments, oily or fried foods, red pepper, meat, pickles, sour foods, strong tea and coffee along with too sweet preparations like pastries, sweets and aerated drinks should be avoided.  
  • Completely avoid smoking, drinking alcohol and tobacco chewing.
  • Any kind of stress, mental or physical can worsen your condition.
