You must also exfoliate your skin once a week. This will keep your skin generally clean, healthy and supple. To make an exfoliating scrub, you can mix a cup of sugar in enough olive oil to give it a pasty consistency and rub this in circular motions all over your body in the shower. In order to provide relief from itching, if your arms and legs do itch with the redness, you can also make a paste of sandalwood powder and rose water. This will cool and soothe your skin and the sandalwood will also help in healing and evening out your skin tone.
