There is no home remedy that can completely cure herpes, but there are several home remedies that can help overcome the discomfort caused by the disease. It is important to remain clean and surround yourself with hygienic conditions. Wash your genitals with warm water and soap at least four to five times a day.


You must try to wash with diluted hydrogen peroxide at least once a day, as this will help with disinfecting. You must make sure you dry yourself completely, and remember to wipe from the front to the back and not vice versa. To combat the pain, you can also pour hot water liberally on the affected areas. Switch to wearing cotton underwear. Change your underwear thrice a day to maintain hygiene. Strengthen your immune system by taking Echinacea pills twice a day. This will help your body to naturally fight the infection. Drink at least 10 to 15 glasses of water a day.
