Diet for a toddler

You have not mentioned the reasons for your daughter being on antibiotics. If she has recently recovered from any illness or is still in the process of recovering from something, then you will need to get her diet cleared by her doctor.

In the meantime all you can do is offer her food that she likes.

Try to think of more innovative ways of feeding her essential nutrients.  For example you can make milk interesting with some fruit that you can mash into the milk. You can also mash the fruit of your choice in your mixer and then add the milk.

Adding some preserves to milk can be a fun way to giving her interestingly colored milk shakes.

Give your child soft, easy to digest food. Cook rice well till it is soft. Mash this further with a spoon. Add some salt and a little butter. This can be eaten at least thrice a day.

You can also give you child a variety of fruit juices. This will ensure that she gets sugar and enough fiber. Fresh fruits can also be given to the child.  Give your child a cup of warm milk at bedtime. Drinking hot water with some lemon juice and a spoon full of honey in it will help her move her bowels regularly. Once she does this, she will develop an appetite.
