Intestinal infection means viral infection. Viral infection can be caused by poor personal hygiene, bacteria and germs. When the germs enter the stomach you are at the risk of infection.

It affects the stomach and small intestine. It can be called as stomach flu or viral gastroentaries. Vomiting, loose motions accompanied with abdominal pain are the symptoms of intestinal infection.

If it occurs again and again it may affect your intestine.
It is but obvious to have intestinal infection after eating outside food. Stop out side food immediately. No medicines are required for this. You can rely on home remedies when you are infected.
  • Ginger tea or chewing ginger is helpful in cleaning your intestine.
  • Mostly have liquid food.
  • Banana is good for neutralizing the acid in stomach.
  • Avoid fried food, cauliflower, onion, coffee etc.
  • Drink peppermint tea.
  • Avoid indigestive food.
  • Try to avoid dehydration. Drink plenty of clear fluids.
  • Slowly you can have your normal food.
