Remedy to treat restless legs syndrome

Restless leg syndrome is also known as Ekborn syndrome. Mainly lower portion of leg is involved. Besides lower portion of leg, thighs and arms are also affected.
- Generally restless legs syndrome strikes almost in the night.The best thing are to walk around for relief.
- Taking warm bath before going to bed help in relaxation of muscles.
- Stretch your leg muscles like calves, hamstrings and butt before going to bed.
- Keeping bath soap under the keen at bedtime appears to be funny. But it works a lot.
- Moderate leg exercise in the morning is also helpful. Do not go for excess exercise. It may aggravate the symptoms.
- When symptom arises move your leg front and back.
- Iron supplements are helpful as iron deficiency may be the cause of RLS.
- Avoiding caffeine and tobacco products will be very beneficial.
- Massaging legs with sesame oil will give relief.
- Hot bag compression is also helpful.
- But while doing all these things get sure that RLS is not symptoms of any other disease.
- Also keep in mind that if the pain rest for many days, see your doctor.
