Treatment for swelling & pain around molar
My gums, cheek, tounge, and throat are swollen and sore around one of my molars, what can I do to stop the swelling and pain that does not have anything to do with onion???

All your symptoms show that you have a toothache. Due to the toothache your cheeks, tongue and gums are swollen and aching. Accumulation of bacteria over a long period of time causes toothache.
So it is better to take care of your teeth every day. Here are some good home remedies that would assist to soothe your toothache – - Put oregano oil on your teeth. It is helpful as a pain reliever.
- Rub your teeth with 1/3 salt and pinch of pepper powder. It will prevent foul breath, pain and blood from gums, toothache and dental cavities.
- Clove is also a good remedy for tooth problems. Sucking a clove reduces the pain in tooth. Clove oil is also helpful. Clove is the best way to get rid of any kind of toothache.
- Few drops of vanilla on tooth is a good remedy.
- Put a clove of garlic dabbed in rock salt on the affected tooth.
- For stopping bacterial growth use of juice of wheat grass as a mouthwash is very beneficial.
- In order to avoid loosing a tooth, stop gum bleeding, swollen gums – the use of lime is very good to address these problems. All you have to do is rub lime on the affected area.
