If you are a teenager, it is not a cause of concern. Maintenance of a proper dietary regimen with clean and hygienic habits helps in providing relief. Avoid fatty and fried foods. Eat adequate amount of vegetables and fresh fruits. Drink at least eight glasses of water with lots of juices and barley water. Calamine lotion is helpful. Applying a drop of toothpaste (paste variety), results in drying of the pimple. Mashed orange peel placed on the pimple is effective. Equal proportion of lime juice with groundnut oil also proves beneficial. Topical application of fresh papaya juice is an easy way to get rid of pimples. Margosa leaves made into a paste with turmeric relieves scars. Cucumber paste is helpful in preventing acne. A teaspoon of rose water with honey, taken daily, is useful. Remove all makeup, before retiring to bed. Sulphur soaps are helpful in keeping the sebaceous glands clean. Avoid butter and clarified butter in your diet.
