What causes blockage in ears?

Of all the numerous medical conditions that people experience, one that can really get on your nerves is the condition of blocked ears. Blocked ears can cause a great deal of discomfort because it becomes extremely difficult to hear and understand what people around you are saying.


The most common causes of blocked ears are variations in air pressure within the body and outside the body. People who travel from lower to higher regions, or vice versa tend to experience blocked ears because of the changes in pressure outside the body, as compared to a varied level of pressure within their bodies. There is no specific blocked ears treatment as such, but yawning and opening the blockage in the ears by allowing a change of pressure in the ear canal is of great help in overcoming the discomfort being experienced. Allowing pressure to build up in the ear canal is unwise and could lead to the bursting of the ear drum. When the pressure build up in the ears is extremely great, the exertion of the pressure on the drum will cause it to tear, leading to permanent loss of hearing in the affected ear. Popping your ears by moving the jaw helps to avoid a lot of trouble.

Natural cure for blocked ear:

• Just inhale deeply and close up both the nostrils and the mouth too tightly. Try to blow the air out expel .Air will try to escape through the ears and naturally will  open up the ear canal and open blocked space .Repeat this 5 times in one sitting.

• Take a hot soup. Ingredients pepper, capsicum, green chillies, ginger, garlic and cinnamon. All in equal proportion. Take these in 4 cups of water  boil till it is reduced to one cup. Drink this once bed time for 5 days.
