Here are some of the effective natural cures for high cholesterol:
  • Add a piece of garlic in a glassful of milk. Boil the mixture and drink it. This helps in reducing the cholesterol level and also supports cardiac functions.
  • You can also try drinking coriander leaves in water. This helps in reducing cholesterol in the human body.
  • Combination of apple juice, vinegar and grape juice is also a fruitful remedy for purifying blood and lowering the cholesterol level.
  • Sunflower seed contains a chemical called linoleic acid that aids in decreasing the cholesterol level around the blood capillaries. It also helps in improving circulation of blood in your body.
  • Avoid saturated fats, butter, clarified butter, oil and other unhealthy foods for cooking healthy vegetables. Sunflower oil is a healthy substitute for all these cooking mediums.
