Read on the following natural remedies for Acid Reflux
- Eat more of fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Incorporate more of fiber rich foods in your daily diet. Fibers help in easy digestion.
- Avoid foods that contain too much of spices, oils and fats. These foods are responsible for forming more acid.
- Limit your intake of sour foods, onions, meats and drinks.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol.
- There are various food sources that are acidic and releases more acidity. These foods include pickles, tamarinds, yoghurt and vinegar. Avoid intake of these acid forming foods.
- Avoid eating junk foods, processed foods and excessive chocolates.
- Eat plenty of rice or other carbohydrate rich foods as these are easy to digest.
- Eat carbohydrate rich food like rice. They are easy to digest with no acid formation
- Give a gap of at least 2 hours between your last meal and before you go to bed.
- Eat more of cucumber, papaya, watermelon and banana. These help to eliminate acidity.
- Ginger is one of the best remedy for curing cid reflux.
- Mixture of ginger and coriander can also relieve acidity.
- Drink plenty of water as water will help in flushing out toxins and acid forming substances from the body.
- Coconut oil is also a good remedy for acidic reflux.
