Treatment for boils
I have a small, very painful boil starting to come, I use "Germolene" and toothpaste and TCP, germolene to calm it down, toothpaste to reduce swelling and TCP to generally minimise scarring.

Natural treatment for boils
- Warm 1 leaf of the herb betel and spread some castor oil or heated pure clarified butter on it. Place it on the boil and remove it after a few hours. Betel leaf will help to rupture and drain all the pus from the boil so that there is no scarring on the skin.
You can either apply the leaf at night and remove it in the morning or apply it once during the day and then repeat it at night. - Ground some black cumin seeds and make a paste with water. Apply it over the boils two times daily.
- Roast some dry roots of turmeric and dissolve the ashes in 1 cup of water. Apply the liquid over the boils to help enable ripen and burst them quickly.
- Apply a hot poultice of Butea leaves to the boils frequently.
- Make a paste of fresh dill leaves with turmeric powder in water and apply it as a poultice to the boils.
- Use the leaves of the herb Indian Mallow as a poultice on the boils.
- Apply Margosa leaves as a poultice, liniment or decoction on the boils regularly.
- Boil parsley in water for 10 minutes and apply it to the boils when warm. Cover the boils with thin gauze and remove it after a couple of hours.
