Treatment for menopause

Menopause is usually a traumatic phase for most women. They find that their bodies are undergoing startling physical changes. These changes are usually related to the mental state of the women.

Some of the most common physical symptoms that women experience at this time of their lives is excessive sweating. This sweating usually occurs at night and leaves women feeling drained and exhausted. Each of these sweating episodes is accompanied by a feeling on intense heat, usually on the upper half of the body. Women often notice that their heartbeats have increased significantly and that they are flushing. This is followed by the sweating.

These episodes of sweating, it has been proved, are related to the general health of the woman. Low levels of estrogen usually affect the hypothalamus, which leads to the sudden increase in body heat. What you can do to help reduce these episodes is to ensure that you are healthy. Ensure that you get plenty of exercise. Drinking plenty of water during the day will help you. So will eating a fiber rich diet. Include vegetables and fruits in your diet, and avoid drinking too much tea or coffee. In general, ensure that you follow a strict diet.
