Treatment for warts
The first rule of thumb with warts is to not fidget with them. The science of homeopathy, which is the only one to provide a painless, gentle and highly effective way of removing warts, follows the belief that the more you fidget with them, the larger and more difficult to handle they become. There are a number of ways to take care of warts at home.
You can try applying castor oil to them and covering with a band-aid. This is said to gradually make them disappear. A mixture of chalk powder and rose water is also very effective in slowly peeling the wart off your skin. However, it is important to remember that this may burn, as chalk has that property. Rose water is mixed in for the purpose of soothing these burning sensations. Aloe vera gel is also highly effective in helping to remove warts. This method, however, takes a very long time, sometimes a year or more, to show effectiveness. You can use aloe vera gel to soothe your skin after a stronger remedy. It is also believed that lemon or lime slices rubbed on warts helps get rid of them. Adding a few drops of vinegar to an onion half and rubbing that on the wart is also believed to help remove them.
