Treatment for tooth plaque

Simple oral hygiene techniques will help tackle this problem quite easily. It will also take care of minor things like bad breath and general toothache and irritation. You need to follow this routine on a weekly basis: brush your teeth with a mixture of salt and lime. If you can get sea salt, it will be better. You can also rinse your mouth thoroughly with a solution of a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in a tall glass of water. While rinsing, brush your teeth with your fingers.

On a daily basis, you need to brush your teeth at least thrice a day. Any toothpaste works fine, just remember to brush the insides of your teeth very well. A couple of times a week, use baking soda to brush your teeth, followed by toothpaste. This will help solve the tartar problem. After every meal you eat, you must rinse out your mouth. Plaque forms with food particles stuck to small crevices within the mouth, and a simple water rinse will take care of this problem. Therapeutically, the juice of guava fruit is known for its properties to fight plaque. If you can eat the fruit fresh, all the better. You can also make a rinse out of marigold petals and use that. Boil the petals of about six flowers in about six glasses of water, reduce to half, strain and store. This is a good rinse to use a couple of times a week before brushing.
