Remedies for tape worm

Tapeworms are a type of intestinal parasite that affect humans as well as other animals. Household pets often get tapeworm too. Often, there are no symptoms of a tapeworm infestation, but by using up a lot of the host's nourishment, the worms can cause malnutrition and weight loss.

In other cases however, there may be symptoms such as pain in the abdomen, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and even dizziness. However, tapeworms are usually detected when they are found in the stool, which is probably the case with you.

There are a few home remedies that you can try for any worm infection, but they are not always successful.

With tapeworm in particular, it is best if you ask your doctor for advice. If you want, you can try fasting for a day and then eating raw pineapples and papayas. You can also eat a couple of cloves of garlic every morning, or a glass of water that has been boiled with fenugreek seeds or cumin seeds. This needs to be done for at least two weeks, to kill the adult tapeworms as well as the eggs when they hatch. If you decide to fast, you should repeat the fast twice, after intervals of 5 to 7 days.
