Treatment for hemrroids

Hemmorrhoids are painfully inflamed tissues in the anus and rectum. They are caused by swelling of the veins in this area. This in turn is due excessive pressure on the veins, most commonly the result of chronic constipation or diarrhea, or obesity.

In mild cases of hemorrhoids, it is usually possible to do without medical treatment. To reduce the swelling, you can try applying aloe vera gel or witch hazel. This can be done several times a day.

Drinking aloe juice can also help with your condition. In addition, a simple cold compress will also help reduce swelling and soothe the pain and itching. You can apply an ice pack or even sit in a basin of cold water. In addition, every time you visit the toilet, you should wash yourself gently with a soft, unscented tissue that has been dampened with cold water.

Some dietary modifications will also to make your bowel movements more healthy and natural. This will prevent constipation and diarrhea, which can aggravate the condition. Consuming more fiber and fluids is probably the best thing you can do. A daily concoction using equal amounts of lime, mint, and ginger juice, and honey also helps the bowels function.
