Information on high blood pressure
A solution of vinegar and water is sometimes recommended as home remedy for high blood pressure, but it is highly doubtful whether the treatment is useful. Vinegar and water are unlikely to harm you though, so if find it beneficial in other ways, you can continue to take it. Vinegar has been found to be useful in controlling acidity and blood sugar levels as well as a few other medical conditions.
For your hypertension however, you primarily need to control your diet. Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables and decrease your intake of meat and fatty foods. You should also increase your intake of calcium and potassium, but cut down on salt.
You should also stop smoking and drinking, if you do either or both. If your blood pressure is extremely high, you should avoid caffeine as well, at least till your pressure is under control. If you are overweight, your diet should also help you lose weight. In addition, some daily exercise will help. If you are not in the habit of exercising, you should begin carefully, preferably by walking for about 20 minutes a day, and gradually going up to 45 minutes. You should first get your doctor's opinion however, before you begin with any exercise.
