Treatment for rash
If you have a rash on your lips, it is probably your body reacting to the weather. Our lips do not produce any oil to help keep them soft and moisturized. That is why our lips are the first to feel the cold or the heat.
However, if you notice any pain or any kind of discharge along with the rash, then you should visit your doctor.
You should ensure that you don't' use any lip balm that is flavored. Similarly flavored toothpaste will only aggravate your problems and should be avoided. Whatever you do, don't scratch your lip or continually feel the rash. This will only make it worse. Instead, bathe it in cold water. This may help it go down. You can even use a soft towel dipped in cold water as a compress on your lip.
In a small bowl mix one tablespoon of potato flour with half a tablespoon of water. Stir well to ensure that there are no lumps. Now add half a glass of water to this. You can use this to bathe the lip. Dip a cotton swab in the potato flour mixture and dab at your lips. Avoid eating food that you are allergic to.
