If the figures that you have provided are accurate, your current body mass index, which identifies the ideal weight a person should be of in relation to their height, shows to be 10. 4, which is severely underweight. If you are an obsessive when it comes to weight loss or even are or on the verge of being anorexic or bulimic, it would be a good idea to consult a doctor and understand the repercussions of living with these disorders.
If the numbers you have provided are incorrect, it is understandable for you to feel that you are overweight. All you need to do is get hold of the correct information and enter it into one of the millions of body mass index calculators available on the internet. If your body mass index is between 25 and 29, you are said to be overweight while having a BMI of 30 or more will put you in the obese category.
A number of causes can lead to the rise in weight of a person. The most prevalent cause is the over indulgence in unhealthy food. With the noticeable increase in the hustle and bustle of any individual’s life today, it is becoming increasingly harder for people to sit down, relax and enjoy a good healthy meal. Our hectic lives require most of us to find quick fix solutions such as visiting the closest hot dog or burger stand and grabbing a bite to eat. Most of these fast foods are rich in oil and fatty substances, while severely lacking in any kind of nutritional and mineral content. Genetics may also play a significant role as obesity may be handed down from one generation to another. A balanced diet includes a calculated amount of expended energy. Eating more calories than you burn will prevent the surplus calories from being turned into fat cells. This is why you will see a number of nutrition experts analyzing the amount of calories various types of foods contain, and advising individuals on exactly how much exercise they should perform, in order to leave the correct amount of energy in the body after the workout to ensure that they can accomplish the other daily tasks without feeling any fatigue.
Recent research shows that cabbage contains a valuable chemical known as tartaric acid which is extremely beneficial in treating obesity. This chemical inhibits the conversion of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat cells and thus helps with weight reduction.

Honestly what you need to ask is not Ideal Weight but Ideal Body Mass Find out what is your BMI (Body Mass Index) is and then go from there. you can do this at many health clubs and some doctors are making this normal practice now. If you have a high Muscle content then (since muscle weighs more than fat) your Ideal weight is higher.
