Remedy for leg pain

Although this remedy is considered an old wives' tale, plenty of people report that it works. However, it is important to know the cause of the pain before you can commence with any proper cure of remedial measures. A universal remedy is to keep your feet raised if you are sitting, use a footstool.

If you are lying down, keep a pillow higher than the one that is supporting your head. Soaking your feet in hot water with a cup of salt and a few pieces of camphor thrown in will ease the pain tremendously. Keep your legs soaked all the way to your calves till the water cools off.

Salt has a tendency to absorb the pain right out of aching muscles, and camphor is also a very effective natural pain killer. After this, remember to keep your legs warm. A massage with coconut oil or mustard oil will also help ease the pain by improving circulation. Consuming fish oil is considered very effective for the general health of your muscles and nerves. Soak a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in a cup of water overnight. Drink this water in the morning. It will help ease your pain considerably. Drinking a lot of water also helps keep the muscles flush and reduces pain.
