Athletes feet (Tinea Pedis) is a fungal growth, fungi like to grow in dark warm places, and you toes, when sweaty inside a shoe provide just the right environment. Make certain that you always dry your feet properly especially between toes. Wear clean socks every day, avoid synthetic socks, go for cotton.
Try to alternate the shoes you wear, allowing the pair of shoes to dry out before its next use. You may try an antifungal cream, like Mycota or Panderm.Do not use too much of cream.
Nails get dry and crumble also from a fungal infection. observe good hygiene and try an anti bacterial ointment. I have found that many people respond very well to an ointment called Bactroban. >
