Natural treatment for abscessed teeth

If you have an abscessed tooth, it probably means that you have not been as alert as you should have been where your oral hygiene was concerned. That is the reason why a cavity in your mouth has been infected by bacteria. And what is more, this infection has spread to your gums, and cheeks.

It is always probably very painful and you are wishing now that you had taken better care of your teeth. The best thing to prevent an abscessed tooth is to maintain a strict watch on your hygiene. Some people develop an abscess tooth because of their over zealous cleaning of their mouth and teeth. If you manage to inflict an injury on your self while cleaning your teeth, then this is likely to lead to an abscessed, painful tooth.

In a cup pour hot water and let a tea bag steep. . Remove the tea bag after five minutes. Now put it directly over eh abscess. Although this sounds horrible, the tea bag will help relive the pain.

Clove  is known to posses healing properties and you can use clove powder to reduce your pain. Simply place one pinch of clove powder over the abscessed area. Another easy remedy is drinking two or three glasses of water, in quick succession in order to reduce the pain.
