Treatment to remove fiber glass from skin
Working with our hands we sometimes have small accidents that leave us with splinters stuck deep in the skin. Of course, the best thing to do is to ensure that you protect your hand sand other parts of your body before you begin to even handle anything like this. However, now that you have tee fiber glass in your hand you can try a few simple home remedies.
Soaking the affected body part in hot water is believed to help. If the splinters of fiber glass are long enough to be visible tot eh naked eye, then you can use tweezers to pull them out. However, sometimes you run into the danger of pulling only half the splinters out, leaving more than half of them still stuck in your skin. For them, you can try covering the affected region with a layer of duct tape. Pull this off and you will find that you have managed to get several of the splinters out of your skin.
Taking a hot shower and then alternating this with cold water is also believed to bring the pieces out of the skin where they are lodge. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of water. Apply the resultant paste on the affected area and then let dry.
