The description of your bruises makes it sound as though they are in the process of healing. At this stage, there are a couple of things you can do to speed up the process. Make cold packs with ice wrapped in a cloth and apply to the bruises.


This will provide comfort and will also dissipate the discoloration faster. Do this as often as you can. A pulp of papaya and pineapple with a few drops of lime juice in it applied and left on for about 20 minutes will also help tremendously with the discoloration and speed up the healing process as well.


This concoction can be washed off with chilled water. Application of witch hazel and arnica oil to the area will help in healing and getting rid of the blotchy marks bruises typically leave behind. Grate a whole potato and apply its juice to the area. This will help in healing. Do not take any pain killer – this will just delay the healing process, since pain killers suppress the pain and retard circulation in the area. Massage as vigorously as you can with coconut or olive oil. This will help improve general circulation in the area and expedite the healing process.
