What remedy is suggested for peeling of skin on palms and fingers?

Your skin could be peeling due to a variety of reasons. You may be reacting badly to some medication that you have been taking, or else you may simply have inherited this condition. In any case you should visit your medical practitioner who will be able to guide you as to the best course of action necessary.

In most cases sunburn causes the skin to peel. However, peeling skin is not a permanent disorder and you will soon have your old skin back. If the skin on your palms and fingers is peeling this is likely to be a reaction against harsh detergents. If you have been washing clothes or doing the dishes, then this could explain the peeling skin. It is advisable to use good gloves while doing these chores in the future.

Chop a bunch of fresh mint and run it through the mixer. Now squeeze it to extract the juice. This juice, when applied to the affected area, will give you relief. You can apply this on your hands at bedtime and allow the juice to work on the palms of your hands. Peel a cucumber and grate it. Extract the juice and apply this on the palms of your hands.

Avoid picking at the peeling skin or to scratch your hands.
