Natural cure for skin itching

Itching of the feet can have several possible reasons. Athlete's foot is one common problem, but in your case it seems unlikely. The condition typically affects the skin between your toes, and results in peeling, flaky, inflamed skin in these areas, but your problem is on the tops of your feet and there is no rash.

Another possibility is that it is simply due to dry skin. This is a minor problem that can sometimes cause surprisingly severe itching. It can be easily addressed by moisturizing your feet regularly. However, do so only if you are sure that dryness is the problem. If the itching is due to a fungal infection, moisture will help the fungus grow, thus worsening the problem. In this case, you should do the opposite — keep your feet dry at all times. Wash your feet regularly, but dry them immediately after. You should also change your socks daily, and try to alternate pairs of shoes.

You may also be experiencing an allergic reaction, possibly to the some material in your footwear. The soles and tops of shoes are made of different materials, which may be why the itching is only on the tops of your feet. Try changing your footwear for a few days and see if the itching stops.
