Depression is a state of mind that a person may reach due to some kind of shock, or a prolonged personal sorrow or problem. These would include primarily, chocolates, sweets, caffeine and caffeine-based products. While these may give you a temporary “high”, they will ultimately plummet your spirits. It is best to stay away from them. Certain foods that uplift the mood are apples, mangoes, grapes, water melons and musk melons. It is also considered helpful to remain in a fragrant environment, this is also supposed to help lift your mood.
