Home remedies for gall bladder
For general care of the gall bladder, both apple sauce and olive oil are effective in arresting growth of any existing problems. However, contrary to popular belief, one must not start with drinking healthy dollops of olive oil. This really does not have any great therapeutic effect. You can start by using generous amounts of olive oil in cooking, and not using any other kind of oil at all. This does not indicate frying – you should strictly avoid fried food if you have gall bladder problems. Pears and beetroots are considered especially helpful in keeping your gall bladder healthy. You can have these as much as you want, and try to eat at least two of each in a day. If you feel unable to consume raw beetroot, you can boil it, sprinkle some sugar and a dash of coconut milk and have it. Grapes are also a good remedial measure for gall bladder health. If you have abdominal pains, you can try applying hot packs for relief. It is also important to lose excess weight in order to maintain general health. If you can, switch to a vegan diet – this will help considerably. You must also increase intake of yogurt and cottage cheese. This will help in healing the gall bladder from within.
