Natural cure for removal of kidney stones
Symptoms of kidney stones include pain in the groin and lower abdomen, blood in the urine, and weak urine flow due to obstruction of the urinary tract by the stone. If you have been experiencing these symptoms, you should get a medical diagnosis in order to confirm the presence of kidney stones and rule out any other problem. Even if you have already been diagnosed with kidney stones, you should first ask your doctor for treatment advice.
In most cases, kidney stones are extremely tiny and can be passed without too much pain or discomfort. However, larger stones often require surgery to either fragment or extract them. These stones can sometimes cause serious blockage and infection, as well as damage the walls of the kidney, the ureter, or the urethra.
If you have a small stone and your doctor is of the opinion that treatment is not required, you should take some simple measures such as drinking lots of water, control your intake of calcium (most kidney stones are composed of calcium) and protein, and increase your intake of fiber, magnesium and Vitamin A. You should also keep track of how much urine you pass, so that you can accordingly increase your fluid intake if necessary. You should be passing approximately two liters of urine a day. It is also advisable to catch the stone when you finally pass it, so that it can be analyzed, with a view to understanding how to avoid a recurrence.
