Home remedies on cysts
Cysts are small collection of fluids that stick to eyelids. They occur due to many reasons, and are mostly harmless and quite painless. However, if your cyst is painful, you need to concentrate on a cure that will disperse the fluid and remove any chance of an infection.
The most effective way to get rid of persistent cysts and also to ease any pain they may cause is to clean them at least five times daily with fresh cold water. You may also use a mild, non-medicated soap. If the soap irritates your eyes, you can also use a baby shampoo instead.
Try to find a fragrance-free, organic one, as this will be the safest to use on the eye. After washing, apply a warm compress to the eye. The sudden transition from cold to warm may cause a sting momentarily, but you will get used to it.
Use chilled evaporated milk to wash your eyes. This will help provide relief from the pain. It will also help in healing. Putting a few drops of rose water in the eye every alternate hour or so will also help ease the pain. You can also apply chilled chamomile tea bags to the eyes. These will help soothe the pain and you will see results almost instantly.
