Home cure for stretch marks
Stretch marks appear due to a variety of reasons. Sometimes pregnancy leaves women with ugly stretch marks while other women develop these when they lose a great deal of weight.
One of the simplest remedies to fade stretch marks is to use lemon juice on them. Lemon juice, it is believed, possess properties that help fade scars. Another easy home remedy that several women swear by is using Vitamin E oil. You can either use oil that has Vitamin E in it. Or else, if you want to use an unadulterated source of Vitamin E, simply poke a hole in a capsule of Vitamin E. Take the liquid that erupts out of the punctured capsule on the palms of your hands and massage on your scars.
Exfoliating the skin on the scars is also helpful. While some people prefer buying an exfoliation cream, you can also make one for yourself at home. Oatmeal is a good way to cleanse your skin and if you add one tablespoon of milk to two tablespoons of oatmeal and scrub this, it is as good as any store bought cream. Wait till it dries before you use cold water to wash it off. You can also massage the scars with aloe vera gel or olive oil. Remember to use only the extra virgin kind.
