how to get rid of a UTI?

Cures for UTI

The first step in treating UTI is to keep off from all kinds of foods and drink that only irritate the urinary tract and further complicate the issue. Anything that has chemically processed sugar or alcohol is a complete no-no. Even though it maybe troublesome and hard to urinate during an UTI, one must not fight the urge to do so.

It is essential to empty the bladder as often as you can because the act helps to get rid of the bacteria and frequent urination means helping to prevent the multiplying of these harmful bacteria in your bladder. To get relief from the pain and the cramps that come with a UTI, sit in a bathtub that has been filled wit four inches of lukewarm water for around 20 minutes. Once you get off the tub, use a heating pad on your lower abdominal pad for comfort from the pain.
Do not use a swimming pool till the time the infection is prevalent. Swimsuits and clothing associated to swimming helps harmful bacteria to harbor and breed within the warm moist areas. The lack of swimming however should not deter you from exercising or moving about. Staying active will help your bladder to function faster and will also get your mind off the uncomfortable feeling.
