 Treatment for skin tags

To treat skin tags you must first soften the wart with warm water for around 20 minutes and pat it dry. Take a cotton pad, dip it in apple cider vinegar and keep the pad on the tag or wart for 15 minutes. It can be later washed off with water and dried.

Do this for 3 days to see effective results. A preparation of baking soda with water rubbed into the tag for at least 5 times during the day will yield in loosening of the skin wart. At night clean gauze must be soaked in baking soda and castor oil and applied on the wart.

You can cover it with a thin sticking of plaster or bandage and left undisturbed overnight.

An old folk remedy involves the use of chewed cashew nut paste on to the wart. If repeated for around 5 - 6 days, the wart should fade off in around a month's time. More effective and less queasy than the chewed cashew nut paste is the rubbing of a crushed garlic on the wart for 3 - 4 times daily until you observe the wart melting away. The wart should disappear in 3 weeks with continuous use of the garlic.
