Constipation can be a very painful condition and often recurrent because it is a condition that tends to be self inflicting. You can try medication but the best remedies are natural constipation remedies.
- Half a cup of cabbage juice, had everyday can help deal with constipation
- Fruits like mango help relieve constipation
- Figs soaked in water and eaten in the morning, along with the water, increases the fiber in your body.
This fiber keeps constipation at bay
- Carrot and spinach juice is also good for the body
- A few teaspoons of castor oil can provide immediate relief
- Eating a guava on an empty stomach every day can be very beneficial
- Water that you drink every day should be stored in a copper utensil. This water proves very beneficial for the body.
- Fresh orange juice is also very good for the body, adding much needed fiber
- Regular sipping of hot water can also help relieve constipation
- Any fresh fruit will help, especially papaya
- One glass of milk, at night, with some grapes also makes a difference in constipation
- Prunes or dried plums also works very well
- Dark brown sugar with some water is also a tried and tested home remedy for constipation
- Pineapple juice also has diuretic properties
- Include more natural yogurt in your diet
To make sure you don’t suffer from constipation once having dealt with it, you should make some dietary changes. Eat a well-balanced diet with plenty of natural fiber. Drink a lot of water and get some exercise regularly. You can increase fiber in your diet with whole grains like whole wheat, bran, and oats. Add beans and legumes to your diet for more fiber. Avoid stimulants like tea, coffee, cigarettes and alcohol. Avoid drinking water during meals.
