Health advice for UTI
  • UTI or urinary tract infection is caused due to infection from bacteria.
  • Drink cranberry juice either directly or mixed with apple juice as it removes bacteria from the cells lining the urinary tract.
  • Mix equal amounts of the oils of bergamot, tea tree, sandalwood, juniper and frankincense and apply it over your bladder till the symptoms settle.


  • Add ½ teaspoon of baking soda in half a glass of water and drink it.
  • Drink plenty of water and fruit juices.
  • Do not try to control or suppress the urge to urinate.
  • Never wipe your vaginal area from back to front as bacteria might be transferred from the anus.
  • Do not bathe in the bathtub as bacteria might enter the urethra.
  • After every intercourse, make sure to urinate and wash your genital area with a mild soap.
  • Have more of foods that are rich in vitamin C.
  • Avoid artificial sweetener, spices, coffee, smoking, alcohol or aerated drinks.
  • Provide heat to your lower abdomen area by pressing a heating pad or hot water bag while lying down.
  • Avoid wearing synthetic or tight underwear. Always wear cotton underpants and lose night wear.
  • Change your panties as soon as you feel wetness and if possible sleep without them at night.
