Home treatment for oily skin
  • Honey keeps the skin hydrated but instead of applying it directly to your face, you can mix it with other ingredients. Try some of the following face packs.
  • Add a small quantity of ground almonds to honey and apply it gently to your face in circular motions for 2 to 3 minutes. Now wash your face with lukewarm water.
  • Mix oatmeal with Aloe Vera and scrub your face with it. Do not scrub if you have acne on your face.
  • Make a mask from fuller's earth by mixing it with water or buy a pack of clay mask and apply it to your face. Leave it to dry and then rinse with cold water.
  • Keep Aloe Vera gel in the fridge and apply it to your face 3 times a day. It will absorb extra moisture and clean the pores.
  • To wipe your face you can use alcohol wipes or directly rub alcohol to your face. You can also mix alcohol with acetone to pat it over your face.
  • Wash your face with cold water whenever the skin feels excessively oily.
  • Apply glycerin to your face after getting up in the morning and then wash it with cold water.
  • Avoid touching your face and always wash your face after coming from outside with a face wash.
