Natural treatment for genital warts
are there any home remedies for genital warts?

Human papillomavirus is generally the main cause for genital warts. It is a highly contagious virus so to avoid its spread appropriate care should be taken. Try the following home remedies to treat genital warts –
- Personal hygiene is very important. Keep the genital area dry and clean as far as possible.
- It is difficult to avoid scratching but at the same time it is very important to do so to avoid its spread. Sit in a warm water bath tub by adding ½ cup sodium bicarbonate to it. This will have a soothing effect on the warts and even relieve the itch.
- To reduce the itchiness oat meal baths are also very beneficial for genital warts.
- Preferably use a condom while having a sexual activity and avoid having oral or anal sex.
- As it is contagious, also avoid sharing your clothes and towels with other members of the family.
- Wear comfortable clean preferably cotton underwear and avoid tight fitted clothes.
