Alli drug has recently become more popular for weight loss in overweight populations. It is the only FDA endorsed drug for weight loss which is available without prescription in many drug stores. Fat consumption need to be reduced when on this drug to prevent the side effect of hard stools.
Alli works by inhibiting the absorption of fat to some extent thereby causing changes in normal stools (diarrhea, oil spotting or lose stools). Dietary and lifestyle modifications along with alli pills may prove beneficial to lose weight.
