My fever hits 100 degrees and goes down and comes back. Please help

This kind of recurring fever is cause for concern, especially if it has been happening for over a week. In that case, you should consult a physician immediately to eliminate any chances of it being due to malaria or typhoid. Whatever may be the reason, the minute you have fever, you should start drinking a substantial amount of water, as well as liquid in the form of juices. You tend to lose a lot of body fluid when you have fever - so drinking water will help to replace that lost fluid and will ensure that you don't get dehydrated in the process. You should also avoid eating spicy foods during this time - instead concentrate more on eating fresh fruits and vegetables, or soups. This will be easier on your digestive system. You should add a pinch of rock salt to the juices that your drink, it will help to retain water in your body.

Apart from this, here are a few things that you can do to get rid of this fever. Add around 50 to 60 basil leaves to water and boil it. Drink this water after it cools down. Alternatively, you can make a paste out of basil leaves and mix honey with it. You can have this mixture 2 to 3 times a day for quick results. Raisins too are highly effective in curing fever. Soak around 40 to 50 raisins in water overnight. In the morning, crush the raisins in the same water, strain it and then add a few drops of lime juice to it before your drink the mixture. You can also either eat oranges, apricots, and grapefruits or else drink fresh juices of the same to help bring down the fever. To bring the temperature down, place a cloth soaked in cool water on your head - this helps to bring down the temperature considerably. Alternatively, you can make a paste of sandalwood and rose water and apply this to your forehead to bring down the temperature. There is another concoction that you can prepare to get rid of the fever. For this, in a glass of water add turmeric powder, few black peppers, few pieces of ginger, one stem of lemon grass, few pieces of onion, and a few basil leaves. Boil this mixture together and let it settle down. Drink it after it cools down considerably. Another equally effective remedy is a mixture of honey, lime juice, and ginger juice - one tablespoon of this taken thrice a day will work wonders.

Besises the fever do you have any other complaints, like anemia, or diahorrea and vomiting and constipation.

Fevers are usually an indication of an infection of some sort.

The fever is secondary to something else.

Are you on any medication, how long ago did this start.

have you been to a medical practitioner to discuss this.

Please have yourself checked for some or other infection/'infestation.

Take Ascorbic acid powder in water with a little baking soda.

3tbs of ascorbic acid, 1ts baking soda and 1 cup clean water. Sip every hour until gone. You'll get the farts, and maybe some loose stool, but that's normal.

If it's higher, call the doc, but5-10 grams of Vit C every two hours up to 50 grams. Yeah, it's a lot, but not toxic. Just farting and pooping for side effects. Less is okay. We should all have 50-10g of C every day anyway. Or up to bowel tolerance.

Still, check with your doctor. A fever means the body is fighting something rough.
