Natural Treatment for Genital Herpes
Genital herpes are mainly caused due to sexual intercourse and affects the nerve ending. I advise you to try the following methods for naturally curing genital herpes:
- Try one dose of aspirin as it may reduce the pain.
- Keep the area clean with a mild soap and water.
Don’t go for applying petroleum jelly or other antibiotic ointments as these may obstruct the path of air that can heal the condition. - Drying lotions can also help in the healing process.
- When you develop herpes sore, it is sometimes painful to dry the genital area with towel.
So, you can use hair dryer from a distance to dry the sores on the genital area. Remember, it is very essential to keep the sores dry. - Avoid touching the sores or lesions because it is infectious and may cause occurrence of herpes in other body parts as well.
- Avoid sexual intercourse when you have herpes outbreak because sex can even worsen the condition.
- Keep yourself physically and mentally fit so that stress may not worsen the sores and create more problems for you.
- Wear loose fitting underwear exclusively made of cotton. Loose fitted cotton underwear helps the genital area to breathe easily and enhance the healing process. At the other end, if you wear synthetic underwear, then the fabric will obstruct the path of air. Try wearing white underwear so that you don’t have any kind of irritation caused by dyes and colors.
