Worms are parasites that live in the gastrointestinal tract. They are of two kinds, roundworms and tapeworms. Depending on the type, they can cause itching, insomnia, fever, rashes, bronchitis, gas, diarrhea and abdominal pain.


Worms are the cause of many illnesses and they can be life threatening, especially for children. They are more common in children than in adults. They are formed due to inappropriate disposal of feces, through contaminated soil or through inadequately cooked food.



A high fiber diet consisting of raw vegetables, whole grains and fresh fruits works wonders in removing worms from the body.

Drink fig juice on an empty stomach (preferably before meals), thrice a day.

Drink distilled or boiled water and avoid carbonated drinks.

Cook any kind of poultry, meat or fish properly and do not leave them for a long time at room temperature before eating.

Drink abundant quantities of papaya juice.

Try fasting for two to three days on raw pineapple as it effectively destroys tapeworms.

Avoid pork till the time worms are eradicated as they encourage parasites.
Among vegetables eat sufficient amounts of capsicum, garlic and turmeric as they increase immunity and eliminate worms.

Include pumpkin extract in your diet as it contains zinc which helps in ejecting all kinds of worms.
