Remedies and cure for toothache -

Toothache is a phenomenon or condition, occurring in every individual. Severe pain leads to discomfort, inability to chew and difficulty in brushing. Decay in the teeth due to infection is a common reason.

Pain due to accident also gives rise to toothache. Giving a massage with ice on the affected area, placing it between your thumb and forefinger is an effective remedy. Placing it directly on a paining tooth also helps.

Keeping an onion on the gum is an useful tip. Common salt with crushed garlic is an easily accessible remedy. Ascorbic acid prevents decay of tooth and thereby relieves you of pain. Wheat grass acts as an effective mouthwash, by flushing out toxins and has a bacteriostatic effect. Teeth sensitivity is brought instant relief by placing a pinch of common salt with pepper powder. An anti bacterial property is displaced by oil of oregano. A gargle with warm salt water proves beneficial. Bay berry bark is made into a paste with vinegar and applied. Instant relief is brought about by topical application of the resinous gum, asafoetida. Clove oil, as we all know is a grandma’s remedy.
